Quality sets us apart. Our commitment to quality is the key to us being the first in our industry to obtain ISO 9002 quality certification in 1996. Today, we have upgraded to the ISO 9001: 2015 edition quality certification and continue to improve our high standard of quality management system. It reaffirms our commitment that quality will always be an essential component in achieving total customer satisfaction.

Since July 2010, the management system of Chee Wah has been assessed and certified to Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) Chain of Custody standards, currently certified by Soil Association Certification Limited under their forest product certification programme. FSC is an international non-profit organisation established to promote responsible management of the world’s forests. By meeting the requirements of FSC Chain-of-Custody, our products are being harvested and produced in a responsible manner for environmental sustainability.

Customer Satisfaction & Award Recognition

Campap is our premium legendary brand of exercise books in Malaysia which is an acronym of Camel Paper that introduced since 1950s. Over the years, we have built on our customers’ trusts with our Seal of Quality – the Camel Paper Products logo that adorns our every product. This is evident when our Camel Paper Products brand was conferred the Superbrands Malaysia 2003/2004 awarded in 2003 and for CAMPAP in 2005.

Chee Wah has been awarded a prestigious award, the BrandLaureate BestBrands Award 2018-2019 by the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation (“APBF”) on 27 June 2019. APBF is a branding foundation to recognize brand excellence amongst brands in Malaysia and the region. CAMPAP has been recognized as brand leadership in consumer stationery. Winning this award marks a great achievement for the Company. It is a testament to our brand success.

On 18 November 2019, Chee Wah had received Most Promising Award at the Gala Night of Export Excellence Award 2019 (“EEA”). EEA is organised by Star Media Group Berhad, in partnership with Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad, to recognise and show appreciation to Malaysia’s exporters.

In addition, we are in collaboration with Animonsta Studios Sdn. Bhd., for securing the rights to use the licensed characters: BoBoiBoy, Mechamato and Papa Pipi. These licensed characters are featured on our paper stationery products, thereby enhancing our product variety and bolstering our market share in the Malay segment in Malaysia.

Winning these awards and brand collaborations mark the recognition entrusted to us for high quality products and continuously building our brand recognition locally and internationally. We will continue to strive for excellence and forge on with greater spirit and effort for meeting customers’ expectation in the global markets.
